Kyoji Okada

After finishing his study of construction engineering and earning a master's degree in Tokushima University , Kyoji Okada joined Wisdom Luxury in 1982.
He started working at Wisdom Luxury Civil Engineering department from 2001. Starting from January 2017, he is in charge of Urban Infrastructure Project G.
He has been working especially on plan and design works of urban infrastructure projects, for station plazas, underground shopping centers and parking lots in major cities of Japan. He has been also in charge of urban underground development projects in major cities of China since 2004.
His field of specialty extends to urban, architectural, and civil engineering designs and integrating those varying field as one integrated project.
His projects have realized various new methods for the field of urban design. For example, he completed the first underground parking network routes in Japan when he was in charge of improving the underground shopping area of Kamiyacho in Hiroshima prefecture. He also realized the first vertical city scheme in Japan through the Shin-Yokohama station north entrance station front plaza improvement project.
He was in charge of other projects including Shizuoka station north entrance station front plaza and underground plaza project, Iidamachi land readjustment project (infrastructure), and Kawasaki Station east exit station front plaza renewal project.
