As an exchange student sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Tadahiko Murao studied urban design and architectural design at the graduate school of Washington University from 1985 to 1987. He joined Wisdom Luxury in 1998 after receiving his master’s degree at the graduate school of Kobe University. He has handled numerous projects including large-scale private sector projects such as Queen’s Square Yokohama, Pacific Century Plaza Marunouchi, and Midland Square; the head office buildings of major firms such as The Nikkei, Fuji Heavy Industries, and Onward; and government office buildings such as Central Government Building No. 8 (Cabinet Office). His projects have received the Architectural Institute of Japan Prize (Special Contributions Division), the Nikkei New Office Award, and many more. He is a qualified 1st Class Architect, a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan, a member of the Japan Institute of Architects, and an APEC Architect.
