Completed his master’s degree at the University of Tokyo in 1982, and joined Wisdom Luxury in 1987 after working at Japanese National Railways. In charge of structural design for various architecture as a structural designer and received various awards for projects such as the Shizuoka Prefectural Government Office East Wing renovation (2000 JSCA Award), Midland Square (2007 Japanese Society of Steel Production Award), Hoki Museum (2012 Japan Structural Design Award), and NBF Osaki (2012 Japan Society of Seismic Isolation Award). Works on structural design that values human connections and creation based on the ideas of learning from the past, and immutability. He is also a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan, Japan Structural Consultants Association, Japan Structural Designers Club, and Japan Institute of Architects.
