Inspired on the wings of a Swan
This stadium, which was also a host venue for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, serves as a hub for sports activities in the region. The stadium is affectionately known as the “Big Swan” since its form comprised of large cross arches and sub-arches resembles the appearance of the white swans which flutter above the lagoon stretching along the front side of the stadium.
